If "there aren't enough hours in the day" is a phrase that frequently springs to mind, then it's no surprise that recording your CPD may never quite reach the top of your list of priorities.  Maybe it is taking you a little longer than you would like, or you are struggling to find the right words - don't worry we have a solution for you!

With our Portfolio Manager service you will have the guidance and support of a personal CPD consultant.  We provide you with a simple note-taking format to record up to 12 CPD entries a year.   Then, as you complete these entries in note form, you send them to your personal CPD consultant at the CPD Centre and they will write them up as a complete CPD entry - using the CPD Online or paper recording systems - whichever is your preference.  Your consultant will contact you to gather any extra information that they may need to complete your CPD entry.  What's more if you are local to one of our consultants, you may be able to arrange a one-to-one meeting with them, subject to agreement. (Please check with us first if this is an essential component for you.)

As well as taking the hard work out of recording, your consultant will also take on a portfolio management role.  They will keep an eye on the overall content of your portfolio and ensure it is 'balanced', offering you advice on the sort of CPD that you might want to include in your record over the coming weeks and months. During your conversations with your consultant they will also deliver your CPD Buddy service, providing advice, encouragement and agreeing targets.

You don't have to wait 12 months for a review which could mean you have to go back over your entries and make changes.  You can benefit from having an ongoing review of your CPD record, with your personal consultant providing feedback throughout the year to ensure you have a CPD record of the highest quality.
